Cosmetic Pigment Implantation is a very specialised technique used for implanting a vegetable dye into the skin to create eyebrows, eyeliner, beauty spots and lip liner. It is semi permanent and can last on average from 2 - 5 years depending on skin type and colour chosen. Cosmetic Pigment Implantation resists water, wind and perspiration and does not smudge run or wash off.

THE TECHNIQUE
The machine used to perform the pigment implantation is a combination of safety, simplicity and the latest in technological advancement. The unique safety features were designed to comply with current sterilization guidelines set by the centre for the Disease Control Agency of the United States. All needles are disposable. A consultation will take place before we start the treatment. This remarkable process of obtaining your desired colour and shape is explained in detail. Shape and colour must be agreed upon before we begin the treatment. Your signature will be your acceptance. The procedure time varies depending on the area treated.

Cosmetic Pigment Implantation - example

I use a special machine and needle to implant the line of colour to the skin. This is a delicate undertaking and is performed under the utmost sterile conditions. Anesthetic cream is used to reduce discomfort. So it’s not painful. Together we will select the right colours to illuminate your eyes and shape your eyebrows. The result is a natural look that’s uniquely yours.

It is necessary to re-treat the area 4 - 6 weeks after the original treatment because the colour fades between 30-50% for most people. Should you prefer a continual darker colour and defined eyebrow shape, you can have more colour implanted after 12 months. It is advisable to have a retouch before the shape changes and the colour completely disappears, otherwise the full price will be charged.

Katrina has been coming to me for 11 years now for her eye brows and eye lining. I have just finished touching up her brows so it looks very dark here, but you loose a bit of colour during the healing process so when it’s settled it will look much softer.
